A New Town, a Found Mate.
Avery's POV-
"Avery get the fuck up, NOW!" My annoying older brother Alex yelled
for the millionth time as I groaned in frustration, why can't they let me
sleep in for once?
"Let me sleep!" I mumbled, shoving my head into my fluffy pillow.
"Fine, I guess we will just have to get you up the hard way," Alex said,
obviously smirking. I didn't have time to ponder on what he meant by
the 'hard way' because moments later I was yanked from the comforts
of my bed, to smack straight onto the hard, freezing cold floor. I
grunted as the pain shot through my wrist from the fall, making me
jump up to confront my attacker -Alex.
"You ass, that effing hurt! " I screeched, yes screeched, what can I say
I am not a morning person; whatsoever. I stomped my way over to
Alex, fist raised, making him back way in fright (even though he was
older than me, I was not to be messed with when I was pissed) . I
grinned as a idea popped in my head (making Alex even more scared)
I was not going to hurt him now, I was going to get him back, but when
he was least expecting it. So as I passed him, before exiting my door,
I gave him a pat on the shoulder, and smirked as if saying 'this isn't
over, you just wait' ; and skipped downstairs, after chuckling at his
dumbstruck expression. When I was in the kitchen (which smelt
delicious, might I add) , I snatched a plate and quickly filled it with
mouthwatering, blueberry pancakes, and was in the middle of scarfing
them down when my mother gave me a wierd look.
"Damn Avery, can you eat any faster?" She joked. I nodded and my
attention went back to my pancakes, causing her to laugh( I am a pig,
okay?) . After I was finished I put my plate in the sink and finally
noticed how empty the house was, which cause me to sigh. My mom
sighed also, and I could see the pain in her eyes (which she tried to
hide, unsuccessfully) then said, "Avery, since you are finished with
breakfast go pack,we are leaving in a bit,for our new town," I opened
my mouth to object, but thought against it, because me mom had
been through enough recently; so I nodded and headed to my room to
pack the rest of my stuff. Before I reached the stairs I heard my mom
say "Cheer up,Ave,maybe you will find your mate there," I couldn't
bear to see my mother's pained face, so I simply nodded, and trudged
up to my room, without another word
